A Good Tailor in Ho Chi Minh City?

by Dave
(Fleetwood, England)

Is there a good tailor in Ho Chi Minh City? Can you recommend one to me...please.

I heard that they make some great custom tailored clothes in Vietnam so I decided I'm gonna get a suit made up for me.

I have always wanted a custom tailored suit but they are so expensive here.

Thanks for the help.

There are some good tailors in Ho Chi Minh City and some absolutely terrible ones as well. I and my friends have never had a problem with Thu Ha tailors in District 1 of Ho Chi Minh City.

Thu Ha Tailors.

29 Nguyen Huy Tu St., District. 1, HCMC.

Tel: 8203981

Thu Ha has both Vietnamese and foreign clients. Foreign customers are residents in serviced apartments such as Somerset or Norfolk Mansion or living in An Phu or Thao Dien.

Just through word of mouth I found Thu Ha Tailors. He is more expensive than a lot of the other alternatives but you still save a fortune compared to the prices in England.

The cheaper tailors cut too many corners with quality.

June, July and December are peak times for foreign customers who go on vacation or return to their homeland to welcome in the New Year. Suits and coats are the two most popular items.

Just make sure you get your final fitting done at least 2 days before you leave the country. A custom suit never comes out perfect the first time. Allow him to make a few adjustments to get your suit fitted perfectly.

Here's to looking good...
