Bodyguard in Saigon

by Miutlaq
(Saudi Arabia)

I want 3 bodyguards. How can I get it and how much?

I appreciate your support and immediate feedback,

I'm going to take you seriously only because everything you've written about yourself thus far has been true. And I actually needed to find help once myself.

The police are the Mob of Vietnam. Pay them and you could have a damn police escort wherever you go. And certainly some plain-clothed body guards with weapons.

I was being harassed by a lone Police Officer in Go Vap District. He kept coming around to my house at 3am and bashing on my thin steel front gate, demanding I pay him some money. He was often drunk and I always refused to pay.

He went on the war path to get me after that. He even threw some poison pellets into our front yard will I was sitting on the patio.

We guessed he was hoping the dog would eat one of the pellets and die before I could clean them up.

First, you need to see a Vietnamese lawyer that speaks English. It doesn't matter what his name is. Once he is on retainer your conversations are privileged.

Tell him you want to speak with the police chief in charge of the District you live in.

If you want full protection in the entire city of Saigon then you will have to approach the police chief for each district in the same way.

The lawyer will go to the meeting with you to act as a translator (Often the police chief can't speak English very well). This is not the time for misunderstandings anyhow.

Bring US Dollars in cash in an amount that will suit your needs. He will not quote you prices. Ever. So think about it.

I paid $400USD cash to the police chief. My request was only to keep the police officer that was harassing me off the patrol that included my area.

The Chief transferred that officer to another district the next day.

Hand him the cash in a plain manila envelope and he will smile and say something to the lawyer.

You'll then leave with more laughter and smiles and witty jokes. In Vietnamese.

If the money is not enough, the police chief will contact the lawyer later.

If he is greedy enough, he'll ask for more money. If he has enough cash and he loses face somehow during your transaction, he'll return the money to the lawyer and that will be it.

Money is everything.

Good luck finding some bodyguards. I hope you are a good man or at least some good people may use this info to good use.

Philip
